WHAT WE RECYCLE?

Category I

Rigid Plastic

Category I (Rigid Plastic) refers to a classification of recyclable plastic materials characterized by their firm and inflexible nature. These plastics, such as PET (polyethylene terephthalate) and HDPE (high-density polyethylene), are commonly found in bottles, containers, and packaging. Recycling Category I plastics reduces the strain on landfills and conserves valuable resources.

Category II

Flexible Plastics

Category II (Flexible Plastic) refers to a specific recycling classification for plastic materials. This category includes a wide range of flexible plastics, such as plastic bags, pouches, wraps, and packaging films made from materials like polyethylene and polypropylene. Recycling Category II materials is essential to reduce plastic waste, conserve resources, and minimize environmental impact.

Category III

Multi-Layered Plastics

Category III, also known as Multi-Layered Plastics (MLP), refers to a specific type of plastic waste classification. These plastics consist of various layers of different materials fused together, making them challenging to recycle using conventional methods. Proper waste management and innovative recycling technologies are essential to mitigate the negative impacts of Category III plastics.
